Your first appointment is an opportunity to talk about what has brought you to therapy and what you hope to gain from it. We’ll explore your current situation, discuss any relevant background, and think together about whether therapy feels like the right next step for you. This session also gives you a chance to ask questions and get a sense of what it might be like to work together.


Individual Sessions

Ongoing sessions offer a calm and confidential space to explore your experiences at your own pace. Using approaches informed by Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), each session is tailored to your individual needs and goals, ensuring therapy feels relevant and supportive to your unique circumstances. There may also be times when we draw upon other psychological modalities, depending on your needs and what feels most helpful. We’ll work collaboratively to help you make sense of your thoughts and emotions, develop self-understanding, and move towards a life that feels more meaningful and fulfilling.

Empowered Relief Sessions

The Empowered Relief™ program is an evidence-based, two-hour single-session intervention developed at Stanford University. Research has shown that this approach can offer benefits comparable to eight sessions of traditional cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) for pain management.

The session provides practical tools and psychological strategies to help you reduce pain distress, improve daily functioning, and regain a sense of control. It is designed for individuals living with chronic or persistent pain who want to better understand and manage their experience.

Fees and payment

Initial Consultation

A comprehensive 50-minute assessment session to explore your current concerns and personal history — both physical and psychological. This session provides space to talk through the impact of pain or health difficulties on your life, understand what matters most to you, and begin identifying your goals for therapy.

Together, we’ll consider whether ongoing sessions are the right next step and outline an approach that supports you to live more meaningfully alongside pain or health challenges.

Fee £90 per session

1:1 individual sessions

Ongoing 50-minute sessions offer compassionate, evidence-based support to help you work through difficulties and move towards what truly matters to you. Together, we’ll build on the foundation of our initial work, deepen your understanding of the challenges you face, and develop practical skills to create a more balanced and meaningful life alongside pain or health difficulties.

Empowered Relief Sessions

Empowered Relief® is a single-session, evidence-based pain management programme developed at Stanford University. It can be delivered either individually or in a group format. I currently offer both individual and group sessions online, providing a structured and confidential space to learn and apply practical, science-backed skills for managing pain at your own pace.
